Weekly Storytimes at the Library

All storytimes are designed for the adult and child to enjoy together. Storytimes incorporate great stories, songs, finger plays, flannel board stories and a puppet mascot. Recommended ages are noted in each description, but children of all ages may attend any storytime. Storytimes support early literacy skills like Print Motivation, Letter Knowledge and Narrative Skills.

All storytimes begin at 10:15 am.

No registration is required. 

Terrific Tuesday

        Storytime at the Peninsula Center Library
        Tuesdays - Storytime Room 
         Hosted by librarians and puppet friends! This storytime includes fun stories, songs, and even dancing!
         Recommended for kids 2-5 years old and their caregivers.

Wonderful Wednesday

 
         Storytime at the Miraleste Library
         Wednesdays - Main Floor
         Join the librarian and some friendly puppets for fun songs, stories and dancing too!
         Recommended for kids 2-5 years old and their caregivers.
Thwacky Thursday

         Thursdays - Community Room 
         Hosted by librarians and friendly puppets, this storytime incorporates a little American Sign Language
         along with fun stories, songs, and even dancing! 
         Recommended for children 2 - 5 years old and their caregivers but all ages can attend!

Silly Saturday

        We’re going to get silly at this storytime for kids of all ages and their caregivers!
        Hosted by librarians and friendly puppets, we’ll share fun stories, songs, and maybe even dancing!
